The DePuy Synthes Companies are part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, and offer the world’s most comprehensive portfolio of orthopedic and neuro products and services for joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, sports medicine, neuro, cranio-maxillofacial, power tools and biomaterials. Recently, Depuy Synthes has embarked on the development of products and services in the space of digital surgery including pre-operative planning, patient specific solutions, intraoperative neuromonitoring, visualization, navigation and robotics. 

Intern Responsibilities:

Robotic Systems Intern
The scope of this internship is to provide exposure to the overall robotics program and to have an opportunity to have hands on application of knowledge learned and introduction to MD development. In this internship, the IIP intern will gain experience in the orthopedic clinical applications and robotics; this includes exposure to current and/or future applications. This position will expose the intern to the overall robotics program and to provide an opportunity to have hands on application of knowledge learned and introduction to Medical Devices development. Responsibilities include:
  • Perform all system level tests reviews with supervision
  • Provide support with documentation for software and systems user manuals (usability, how to use the system)
  • Execute test protocols
  • Learn associated regulatory documentation
  • Assist with test analysis and report documentation to the broader group
  • Maintain the Systems Project Manager informed of activities and raise red flags.
Qualifications:
Pursuit of Engineering degree
Experience in running test scripts preferred
French would be a plus
