King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF)

Organization Overview
King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF) is a public organization under the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which oversees programs that promote Korean language and culture in other countries. In response to the growing demand for Korean language education for non-native Korean speakers, KSIF is supporting King Sejong Institutes (KSI) around the world.  

Ideal candidate has passion in Korean language education sector and wants to join in KSIF to envision the world in finding joy in sharing beauties of different cultures.  

Intern Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Intern
  • Assist in general administration work communicating with branch offices all over the world
  • ​Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
  • Translate & Interpret for meetings and workshops
  • Assist in preparing information for various events and activities (e.g. field trips and meetings) 
  • Support managing King Sejong Institutes and Korean languages teachers
  • Support running events such as World Korean Educators Conference and regional workshops
  • Support administration of global PR of KSIF
Qualifications:
  • Korean(speaking/reading/writing), bilingual or advanced required.
Preferred:
  • Mandarin Chinese
  • Vietnamese
  • Russian
  • etc.

2. Website Intern
  • Update online contents on Sejong Institute website (video, image, text files, etc.)
  • Assist IT staff in managing online security & privacy protection  
  • Update and posting (supervised) social media and website content
  • Support the IT team in maintaining software and other systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and providing technical support
