Zim Arquitextura

Organization Overview
Zim Arquitextura is a boutique architecture firm with the mission to design spaces and structures that help each person to recognize in oneself one’s uniqueness and to understand that space and morphology are a reflection of one’s own originality. The firm seeks to achieve an original design for each project by finding the proper way of inhabiting spaces, taking into account the client’s history, present, and future. Zim Arquitextura has a diverse portfolio of projects in different regions of Argentina, including residential houses, hotels, social housing projects, and corporate office buildings. The IIP intern will work in Project Design and Coordination.

Intern Responsibilities:

Project Design and Coordination Intern
The IIP intern will work together with the firm’s partners to carry out architectural design work for clients’ projects. The intern will also visit construction sites in the San Isidro area in order to monitor and evaluate project progress and make design adjustments as needed. Finally, the intern may help the firm to communicate and market its projects in order to raise brand awareness and attract potential new clients.

This position is particularly well-suited for candidates who are architects and have design experience.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently and on a small, close knit team and will be creative, analytical, and socially communicative.
Minimum Spanish level required: Intermediate

This internship is offered in collaboration with Puentes Abroad. In the internship through Puentes, interns will undertake project-based work that is designed to directly contribute to one of the internship site’s key work areas so that they gain real experience and know-how through substantial, mission-driven work.  The internships are overseen by Puentes and are complemented by homestay housing.
