Organization Overview
Poder Ciudadano is a nonprofit organization that was formed over 30 years ago as the local chapter of Transparency International, as an initiative of a group of citizens concerned with the defense of civil rights in Argentina. The goal of the organization is to lead the way for good government of the state, to fight for transparency in the management of public affairs, and to remain committed to invigorating the institutions of democracy. The IIP intern will work in Research and Analysis. 

Intern Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis Intern
The IIP intern will be tasked with collaborating on researching and analyzing social situations and on writing papers related to topics relevant to the organization. The intern will also be asked to make substantial contributions to other projects that the nonprofit carries out.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in research and data analysis.
Minimum Spanish level required: Advanced


This internship is offered in collaboration with Puentes Abroad. In the internship through Puentes, interns will undertake project-based work that is designed to directly contribute to one of the internship site’s key work areas so that they gain real experience and know-how through substantial, mission-driven work.  The internships are overseen by Puentes and are complemented by homestay housing.
