Organization Overview
This software startup was born in 2014 with the mission of helping entrepreneurs execute innovative and creative projects. With that goal, Litebox started working with small, local companies and then grew into working with larger companies and international startups. The focus is on software development, with the vision to develop incredible products that people enjoy seeing and using. The IIP intern will work as a Software Development Intern.  

Intern Responsibilities:

Software Development Intern

The IIP intern will tackle clients’ software development projects. The project work may include website development in Wordpress, website development in NodeJS, development of backend, and development of mobile application in React Native.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Spanish level required: No Spanish Required
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with systems engineering and knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, and/or NodeJS.
     
This internship is offered in collaboration with Puentes Abroad. In the internship through Puentes, interns will undertake project-based work that is designed to directly contribute to one of the internship site’s key work areas so that they gain real experience and know-how through substantial, mission-driven work.  The internships are overseen by Puentes and are complemented by homestay housing.
