Internship in Museum Development, OteGroup Telecommunications Museum

Intern Responsibilities:

Communications Intern

This IIP intern will assist in the development of a potential communication plan including activities, events and collaboration that reflects and promotes the image of a brand-new Museum with new exhibition halls and a new story to tell. The IIP intern will participate in coordination meetings about the project’s timeline, budget and the development of potential activities. The purpose will be to strengthen the Museum’s position as an active player in the society and promote its extrovert policy and dynamic relationship with it. The IIP intern's responsibilities include:
  • Digital Promotion of the New Museum’s image. This IIP intern will participate and contribute to the design, planning and promotion of the Museum’s new image to an international level through digital means. This IIP intern will enrich the content and documentation of the existing Museum’s site and Instagram and find innovative and creative ways to reflect and display the new Museum’s appeal in a global context.
  • “Transforming the story of telecoms into an internet game”. The IIP intern will monitor the transformation of the telecoms narration into an intriguing and fun scenario for a digital game. This project for creating a smart and innovative internet game scenario demands creative flair, imagination and an up-to-date knowledge of the industry software and information systems. The intern must have a good approach to time, costs and deadlines. For this work, the intern will collaborate with the Museum’s staff and a Museologist. The game, once created, will be available, at a later stage, through the Museum’s website.

  • Candidates with interests in international relations, social sciences, communication and media studies are encouraged to apply.
