Institut de Genetique Molecular de Montpellier

Organization Overview

The Institut de Génétique Molecular de Montpellier (IGMM) is affiliated to the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of Montpellier. It is an interdisciplinary institute for advanced studies in biology. Its ambition is to conduct high quality fundamental research relevant for molecular and cellular medicine, with a particular emphasis on cancer and specific infectious and genetic diseases.

Intern Responsibilities:

Research Intern
IGMM has a long-standing and well-established international reputation in the fields of its main research themes in the following areas.
  • Function and Maturation of RNAs
  • Genetic and Epigenetic Regulation
  • Tumorigenesis, Cell Cycle and Death
  • Immunology, Viral Infectiology
  • Metabolism

IIP interns can select from the range of research topics listed above. Sophomores and Juniors are encouraged to apply. French is not required for the internship. 

If you are enrolled in the Global Health Program certificate, this internship will fulfill the GHP internship requirement.
