Intern Responsibilities:

Technical Support Intern
The intern will integrate the Technical Area in the Department of Roads & Topography more specifically in the specialties of Geology and Geotechnics, where they will have contact with several projects, both in the commercial stage (Tender stage) and execution stage. IIP intern responsibilities include:
  • Geotechnical area, the objective is to learn how to verify/interpret a Geotechnical documentation of a road process and also analyze and calculate the road foundations and slopes stability with different types of soils.
  • Geology area, the goal is to learn how to verify/interpret a Geological documentation of a road process and also analyze and calculate the usability of the excavation materials for the future embankments. Learn how to prepare a soil prospection campaign in commercial and execution stage.
  • Potentially an opportunity for the trainee to follow the Soil Prospection Team and learn how to perform boreholes and on-site tests and, as well, learn how to interpret the results and calculate the soils parameters.

  • Self-Motivated, strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit and goal oriented
  • Environmental or Geological Engineering candidates are encouraged to apply
