GREENVIET

Organization Overview
GREENVIET is one of the first consultants in Vietnam to focus on Sustainable Construction and Green Building. Ever since their foundation, GREENVIET has been driven by a clear vision of contributing to a greener Vietnam.
 
Before setting up GREENVIET, the founders accumulated their experience through working on many green building projects since 2008 when Vietnam had its first projects designed and built to LEED standards. Now at GREENVIET, with the slogan of “Building Sustainable Practices,” they continue their professional work with LEED, LOTUS and Green Mark projects, and have completed over 100 projects in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia. GREENVIET takes over more than 50% of Vietnam's green building market, which has fortified their leading position in the country. Green Viet is looking for interns pursuing a concentration in Engineering (Environmental, Electrical, Construction), Architecture and related fields of interest.

Intern Responsibilities:
 
1. Electrical Engineering Intern
Responsibilities Include:
  • Calculate and review the design of lighting system, lighting control, electrical system
  • Prepare documents and spreadsheets for the application of achieving green building certification
  • Review electrical and lighting system design drawings
  • Edit drawings and produce reports based on design drawings
  • Implement lighting simulation

Qualifications: 
AutoCAD, and Lighting design software (Dialux, Relux) skills preferred. 


2. Thermal Electrical Engineering Intern
IIP interns will: 
  • Calculate requirements related to green building and consult sustainable design solutions
  • Participate in energy simulation for building
  • Prepare documents and drawings to submit to Green Building Council for the application of achieving certification
Qualifications:
AutoCAD, experiences with using design software and/ or field experience preferred. Site visit may be requested.
 

3. Construction Engineering Intern
Responsibilities include: 
  • Site visit and direct guidance of contractors about LEED and LOTUS solutions
  • Provide guidance on how to write reports on waste sorting
  • Provide guidance on how to write reports on material selection
  • Receive reports and respond to relevant departments
Qualifications: 
AutoCAD, experiences with using design software and/ or field experience required. 


4: Environmental Engineering Intern
Responsibilities include: 
  • Work with construction drawings
  • Coordinate with project teams to work on the designs complying with LEED, LOTUS, GreenMark standards
  • Submit LEED, LOTUS, GreenMark reports
Qualifications:
AutoCAD, office software, good work ethics and excellent team work skills required. 


5: Architecture Intern
Responsibilities include: 
  • Calculate and review design application for construction
  • Prepare documents and spreadsheets for the application of achieving green building certification
  • Analyze and evaluate architectural design options
  • Edit drawings, produce reports based on design drawings
  • Knowledgeable of physical construction simulation
Qualifications:
Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DsMax, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Lumion, ProShow (or Adobe Premiere), office software, good understanding of physics in architecture, know how to analyze architectural drawings

Additional Requirements: Will be specified during interview


This internship is offered in collaboration with Abroader (Student Exchange Vietnam)
