Nearpod (IIP-IN Argentina, Puentes Abroad)
Nearpod's mission is to facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences that dig deeper, hit harder, and push kids further than ever before. As the only educational teaching app that's amenable to all platforms and mobile devices, it allows teachers and students to engage interactively in real-time. It also allows students to access lessons outside class to complete and submit as homework. Our highly curated digital content is designed in a single-lesson format, covering grade-specific topics for K-12. Lessons are aligned to national common core standards.

Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will contribute to the work of one of the areas: design, education content or marketing.
  • Design Intern: Develop and deliver an entire design package to a client from start to finish, under the guidance of your mentor. You will be encouraged to bring new ideas and tools to the table.
  • Education Content Intern: Write K to 12th grade lessons that transform traditional classroom material into interactive, multimedia learning experiences.
  • Marketing Intern: propose a new campaign idea, or design and carry out a planned campaign, for one of our existing events or social media channels.
Qualifications: IIP candidates should be collaborative, a team player, receptive to feedback and open to new experiences. For the design placement, skills in Adobe Suite's Creative Cloud, Sketchapp, or InVision are recommended. For the education placement, candidates should have strong skills in writing. For the marketing placement, experience in Social media or marketing is recommended. While Spanish is not required for the intern’s actual project work, since most of our office socializes in Spanish, it is helpful to have conversational Spanish to be able to interact with the team.
