Villgro Innovations Foundation
About: Founded in 2001, Villgro is India’s oldest and foremost social enterprise incubator, focused on solving some of India’s most critical problems through market-based models. Villgro inspires, mentors, funds and incubates innovative social enterprises in four sectors across India: education (includes skill training), healthcare, agriculture and energy.
Villgro is a non-profit organization and an approved Incubator by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Since inception Villgro has incubated 119 social enterprises and entrepreneurs, provided them with seed funding of approximately INR 140 million; these enterprises have gone on to generate around 4,000 jobs, have secured INR 1194 million in follow-on funding, and have touched over 15 million underprivileged lives.

Health Incubation Team:
- Evaluate the potential impact investment opportunities in Health sector
- Initial screening of enterprises for business viability and impact, detailed market
- impact assessment and other assistance with diligence process
Qualifications: Academic Background/Interests: Strong critical thinking skills, interest in investing and market research from an impact investment perspective. Strong desire to learn is more critical than a specific academic background. Course work in Education or finance would be beneficial, but not required.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PPT. Report writing skills.
