PIF-Metiers Institut Francais De La Mode (IFM)

Location: Paris, France

About: IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) is a higher education institution offering a broad range of activities: postgraduate academic programs, executive education, and expertise in areas such as textile, fashion, luxury, and design industries. IFM was founded by representatives of the fashion industry with support from the French Ministry of Industry.  IFM enables students to complete high-level postgraduate programs in both luxury management (one in French, one in English) and design. After one year of studies, students take on careers in companies where creativity is a major source of added value or alternatively set up their own businesses. IFM aims to break down barriers between management and design in an industry that blends products, brands, culture, and design.

Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will assist the team with recruitment activities, including organizing executive interview sessions and compiling statistics, updating/preparing welcome and academic materials, analyzing student course satisfaction surveys, assisting the Head of the MSc Luxury Management Program with certain research tasks, conducting benchmark studies of other Luxury and Fashion Management programs, and updating their worldwide database of top undergraduate programs.

Qualifications: IIP candidates with an interest in the creative fields (ex. fashion, luxury, art, design) and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are encouraged to apply. Advanced French speaking skills are strongly recommended, but not required.
