Accelerate is an international executive recruitment firm, with an expert team dedicated to finding their clients top quality talent by using a direct headhunting search model. The company operates on a global basis and is dedicated to tailoring its service to match specific clients’ needs.  They specialize in quick and highly efficient, targeted headhunting, and find quality candidates without financial risk for their clients. They are not industry specialized but rather apply their highly developed technique to individual searches following a detailed briefing by the customer. They have extensive experience successfully finding and placing candidates around the world across multiple industry sectors, functions, levels and locations. Accelerate’s unique and modern approach is the secret to its success. They use technology in a smart and sophisticated way and match this with notable customer service and client management to ensure a great experience for all involved and strong partnerships for the future. Interns have the opportunity to work alongside the co-founders and directors and truly become vital team members of the dynamic and growing company.
Intern Responsibilities:
1. Communications & Social Media Intern

Social media/marketing role focused on enhancing online presence:
  • Work on the company website.
  • Write regular blog posts.
  • Manage social media content and engagement.
  • Schedule and planning social media.
  • Train on social media content and management, which can be applied in any organization.
No prior technical skills required. However, preferred areas of study include Economics, Engineering, Business, International Studies, and Finance.
Minimum Spanish level required: No Spanish required 

2. Business Development Intern
Sales focused / business development role geared towards gaining new clients in the Latin American market:
  • Sales and business development material design and creation.
  • Market mapping and target exercise.
  • Training modules on the business model and market knowledge acquisition.
  • Monitoring and tracking results through company sales system.
No specific academic background is required, but students with a comfortable and strong phone presence are desired.
Minimum Spanish level required: No Spanish required 

This placement is offered in collaboration with Puentes Abroad. In the internship through Puentes, interns will undertake project-based work that is designed to directly contribute to one of the internship site’s key work areas so that they gain real experience and know-how through substantial, mission-driven work.  The internships are overseen by Puentes and are complemented by homestay housing.
