Shop Hop Buenos Aires (IIP-IN Argentina, Puentes Abroad)
Shop Hop BA provides customized shopping experiences and personal shopping and styling services to both tourists and residents of Buenos Aires. Services include private half-day and full-day shopping trips with a personal shopper tailored to the clients’ interests, requests, style and budget; bespoke shopping itineraries; wardrobe consultations, and gift shopping services. VIP shopping packages are also available. As well as helping people find what’s on their shopping list, Shop Hop BA aims to provide insight into Buenos Aires’ diverse local design scene and access to the city’s closed-door shopping scene that includes private, appointment-only showrooms and workshops where clients can meet the designer or artisan in person.

Intern responsibilities: The IIP intern will be responsible for various social media, marketing, and business development tasks, including daily social media updates, building up a backlog of creative and SEO-relevant blog posts, and reaching out to new and maintaining existing contacts with travel agencies and hotels. In particular, the focus will be on coming up with marketing strategies to target VIP clients. The intern will also have the opportunity to go out and research new showrooms and boutiques around the city and assist in some group shopping tours and events.

Qualifications: IIP candidates with a background or interest in fashion and/or marketing are encouraged to apply.  An understanding of various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter would be an asset.  Conversation Spanish is required.
