Program Description:
Solsken (IIP-IN Argentina, Puentes Abroad)
About:
Solsken is an Argentine contemporary design boutique that combines the international aesthetic of contemporary design with attention to the detail and the quality of national production. It prides itself on its professionalism, creativity and experience, which distinguishes it in the Argentine market. Their collection consists of furniture, lighting, household décor, and textiles that stand out for their high-quality materials and stellar design.
 
Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will either work with the design team or sales team. The IIP intern with the design team will have the opportunity to work alongside Solken’s design team, conceptualizing and designing furniture, lighting, household décor, and textiles that will then be sold in Solsken’s stores in Buenos Aires.  The IIP intern with the sales team will work in the Solsken flagship store to promote sales in person and online, considering pricing, marketing, and special promotion strategies to increase sales.

Qualifications: IIP candidates with interests in design, architecture, business, sales, or marketing are encouraged to apply. Basic Spanish is recommended.
