About: Ruwasunchis is a non-profit organization that promotes capacity and development opportunities in vulnerable communities. One of Ruwasunchis programs is Ruwalab, a laboratory of social innovation that promotes creativity, personal development and collective creativity to solve problems and create value. Other programs include a weaving program for local women, and academic study and sports programs for teens and children.
Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will focus on impact measurements and develop themes, methodologies and items to add to the workshop agenda of Ruwalab. This will lead to generate a greater impact and improve the results for each participant. The IIP interns will also develop the idea of expanding Ruwalab offerings beyong the specific area of Lima and help other provinces/region and come up with an expansion strategy.
Qualifications: IIP candidates with interests in social innovation and social impact lab, business development, community empowerment and design are encouraged to apply. Basic Spanish is recommended.
Previous work experience (in the words of a past IIP intern: Conducted a marketing campaign for one of the beneficiaries (restaurant Todos Por Ruwa), developed donor strategy (Ruwamigos) and contributed to the expansion of the website of Aylluruwasunchis, as well as and also came up with a recommendation to enhance general operations and human resources for Ruwasunchis.
