Program Description:
Alto Peru
About: Alto Peru is a social enterprise that, through sports and culture, seeks the personal growth of girls and boys in low income areas where poverty and violence are pervasive, strengthening the potential for social change.

Intern Responsibilities: The IIP interns will assist Alto Peru with exploring different paths to promote its sustainability. The IIP interns will identify the different streams and opportunities with the most potential for the organization sustainability, and develop them. This will include identifying proper key performance indicators, looking at foundation and donor relationship management and perform a cost-benefit analysis of the offering of the organization. The IIP interns will also look at how to improve the sales of products and services offered to current and potential clients (including team-building workshops and corporate events).

Qualifications: IIP candidates with interests in social impact measurement, community empowerment, social entrepreneurship and/or non-profit management are encouraged to apply. A background in business or social sciences would be an asset. Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.
