Endeavor (IIP-IN Argentina, Puentes Abroad)
About: Endeavor strives to transform the economies of emerging markets by identifying and supporting high-impact entrepreneurs. Endeavor offers services to companies by assisting them in breaking down a society’s barrier to success, offering world-class strategic advice, and opening doors to capital. With Endeavor’s guidance, companies become role models, encourage others to innovate and take risks, and create sustainable economic growth.
Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will help research, identify, and select potential Argentine high-impact entrepreneurs to present at the organization’s International Selection panels and may also work directly with selected entrepreneurs. The core focus of the internship will be to craft one-page executive summaries of our entrepreneurs’ companies. IIP interns will also work on interviewing entrepreneurs to determine whether they meet the organization’s criteria for entrepreneurs. Additionally, interns will take part in a variety of other internal projects, such as helping organize the organization’s largest annual conference on entrepreneurship, which typically takes plane each June in Buenos Aires.
Qualifications: IIP candidates with interests in international business, economic development, entrepreneurship, business process outsourcing, public relations, marketing, and communications are encouraged to apply. Conversational Spanish is recommended.
Previous work experience (in the words of a past IIP intern): One pagers -- drafted one-pagers of all of the organization’s active entrepreneur companies \\ Communications -- helped the communications department with some basic translating and blogging \\ Annual Conference -- collaborated in coordinating and running this yearly experience \\ Services – worked on supporting the work of a Bain fellow who his doing an externship at the organization; I am helping with her work streamlining/reworking the services value proposition and drafting the templates and packets needed to consolidate "institutional memory" going forward.
