Accelerate Search Limited (IIP-IN Argentina, Puentes Abroad)
About:
Accelerate is an international executive recruitment firm headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The company is composed of an expert team dedicated to finding their clients top quality talent by using a direct headhunting search model.  They operate on a global basis and are dedicated to tailoring their service to match specific clients’ needs.  They specialize in quick and highly efficient, targeted headhunting and find quality candidates without financial risk for their clients.  The firm has extensive experience successfully finding and placing candidates around the world across multiple industry sectors, functions, levels, and locations.

Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will become full team members at the firm and will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with the company’s founders and directors to learn the business. Interns will shadow projects and become immersed in systems, software, and technology.  A project tailored to the intern's interests and skillset will be defined prior to the intern’s arrival and will allow for the intern to take ownership.  Project opportunities include designing and implementing strategies for marketing, social media, and online presence enhancement of the company; conducting phone calls with potential candidates and references while selling the firm’s services; and assisting with financial and accounting matters.

Qualifications: IIP candidates with interests in learning about a fast-growing start-up and who would like to gain experience in project management, business development, marketing, and communications are encouraged to apply.  The firm seeks a highly organized student who is eager to learn and take on real responsibilities.  No specific academic background is required, but a student with a comfortable and strong phone presence is desired.  No Spanish is required, since the project work can be conducted in English, but basic Spanish is recommended.

Previous work experience (in the words of a past IIP intern):  Search Consultant Intern: I felt like I contributed value to the company, which was very rewarding. Since it was an early-stage startup, I had the chance to see many different aspects of how to run a small business, including the operational, financial, and legal components. [The company founders] kept me in the loop with everything they did, which I very much appreciated. \\ Duties: Recorded finances and tracked company transactions; streamlined financial reporting process.  Enhanced online presence through redesigning website and increasing social media following by 200%.  Researched candidate profiles and client competitors for live executive-level searches in various sectors.  Provided administrative assistance to company directors, including preparing reports and invoices.  Wrote and published articles relevant to the recruitment industry.
