Program Description:
The Health Scholars Program

The Health Scholars Program provides outstanding Princeton students with funding for travel and research to pursue global health-related internships and senior thesis research, both in the U.S. and abroad. This competitive program, administered by the Center for Health and Wellbeing, is open to students from all departments.

Up to five juniors are selected each year for the scholars program through a rigorous application and selection process focusing on both academic performance and plans for work and research on global health issues. The scholars are supported by the program through their junior and senior years. Scholars are provided with financial support to engage in health-related internships or independent research on health topics in the summer before the senior year, and are expected to write health-related senior theses in their home departments.

Health Scholars are encouraged to participate in planning lectures and seminars, and they may have the opportunity to interact with distinguished speakers during their campus visits.
