Organization Overview
The main objective of Cámara Colombo China de Inversión y Comercio is to position Colombia as the best investment destination in Latin America. The company promotes commercial, political, economic and cultural relations, projecting itself as a fundamental tool for the Colombian business sector, where businesses, entrepreneurs and academia converge in search of great opportunities to benefit the growth of the Colombian economy. The company also offers academic exchange through the creation of academic programs and university scholarships.

Office environment and team information: A small team located in a brand-new corporate office in one of the best neighborhoods in Bogotá.

Intern Responsibilities:

Department of Foreign Trade and Commercial Services Intern
The main responsibility of the IIP intern will be to provide support and knowledge to the Department of Foreign Trade and Commercial Services. The activities consist of, but are not limited to;
  • Providing support in the organization of International Fairs and work agendas for entrepreneurs
  • Undertaking industry/sector studies/investigations
  • Resolving and addressing consultations in the field of foreign trade
  • Attend networking events with Chinese companies and businesses
  • Provide information to Colombian companies and businesses about the Chinese market (varying sectors)
  • Support the team in the day to day running of the organization when needed
These tasks will be assigned as needed and to match the intern’s interests and background.

  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Spanish (Lower-Intermediate Level)
  • Candidates should be studying economic, administrative and/or international business degrees with a basic knowledge in foreign trade
  • Proactive and diligent in their work
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Resourceful and self-sufficient
  • Pay careful attention to detail

  • Communicative within a team/works well in a diverse team
