The organization works together with impoverished communities to improve their habitats and living conditions, to promote economic and social development, and to encourage civic action and advocacy. The IIP intern will work in Research and Analysis and/or Monitoring and Evaluation.

Intern Responsibilities:

The IIP intern will conduct a strategic analysis of key parts of the organization in order to improve internal processes. The project will focus on analyzing the volunteer system, since the organization has a large number and active volunteers across the country. The intern would conduct a historical analysis of volunteer participation and training, with a review of the number of volunteers needed to guarantee an effective volunteer cycle and, in turn, to maintain day to day operations.
