Proficio Investment

Organization Overview

Proficio Investment is a Stock Exchange Company of the Stock Market of Buenos Aires, integrated by a group of professionals with vast experience in the financial market. The company specializes in the origination, structuring, and placement of financial products for the local and international markets. The firm carries out diverse financial transactions, including IPOs, issuance of bonds and bills of the public sector, and issuance of NOs and trusts.

Intern Responsibilities:

Financial Research Intern
The IIP intern will conduct a financial and economic research project on Argentina, Brazil, or the Latin American region. Past interns have carried out a valuation of a company to present to the firm’s partners to be considered for investment. The interns work alongside the research and trading teams and will gain insights into the day-to-day workings of a dynamic financial firm in an often challenging and volatile market.

Qualifications:
The IIP candidate should be proactive, enjoy research, and have an introductory understanding of financial concepts. A preference would be given to rising juniors or seniors. The intern must be able to conduct research in Spanish, but the final report can be done in English.
Minimum Spanish level required: Advanced

This internship is offered in collaboration with Puentes Abroad. In the internship through Puentes, interns will undertake project-based work that is designed to directly contribute to one of the internship site’s key work areas so that they gain real experience and know-how through substantial, mission-driven work.  The internships are overseen by Puentes and are complemented by homestay housing.
