Corporate Editions

Organization Overview
Corporate Editions provides translation services in a variety of languages including, but not limited to, French, Spanish, English, German, and Italian. Corporate Editions works with a wide range of organizations, from luxury fashion, jewelry, and cosmetics brands to educational institutions, as well as hotels and travel companies. Corporate Editions has an office in Paris and an office in Switzerland, but it is overall a small organization.

Corporate Editions are official translators of the French Senate, the Banque de France and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration. They also translate the Annual Report, including extracts and explanation of decisions handed down by the French Supreme Court (Conseil Consitutionnel).

Intern Responsibilities:

Translation Intern
Work consists primarily of translation and proofreading from French to English and proofreading in English, or other language combination if the intern is qualified. We also have copywriting projects in English.

Corporate Editions also provides interpreting services for government, NGOs and IGOs (including the UN). IIP Interns may help prepare dossiers for major international conferences and, at times, even attend such conferences.

Other shorter-term translating projects may last a few hours or one day, and include advertisements, press releases, and other business documents.

Advanced French language skills and excellent writing skills in English (with flair and a sense of humor) are required. Knowledge of another foreign language is highly useful.
General knowledge of French culture, an interest in political science and foreign affairs and a flair for advertising would all be useful.
Other areas of interest might include marketing, social media.
