Organization Overview
Universcience is an organization that works in collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture. They run two major science museums in Paris: Cité des Science et de l'Industrie, and Palais de la Découverte. They create a large number of traveling exhibitions, which travel both in France and worldwide. Working with a wide variety of partners, Universcience has been able to bring science to every corner of the world, facilitating curiosity and discovery. They specialize in "edutainment" exhibits for young children, but also provide technology and resources for older students.

Intern Responsibilities:

Marketing Intern
IIP interns will be responsible for:
  • Web marketing
    • Writing persuasive content for the web: news about our travelling exhibitions, expertise for our B2B website: http;//
    • Identify trends and insights to optimize the performance of our B2B website
    • Helping with writing newsletters and emailing's
  • Touring exhibitions
    • Data research for potential touring exhibitions: market analysis, sourcing appropriate partners and venues, similar exhibitions.
    • Assisting with touring exhibition launches

  • Ability to research and analyze information and make clear, concise reports and recommendations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • An interest in the Universcience's exhibition program and science communication
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing/communications is preferred
