Spring 2022 Budget Information
- Program fees: £24,615
- This amount includes University fees, College fees, and College accommodation (including utilities and housekeeping) during term time. They do not include accommodation during the vacations. Most students travel over Easter vacation, but rooms can usually be rented on a nightly basis in College when available and when requested in good time.
- Nor do these fees include the cost of food; students are billed separately for food taken in Hall. Students at Oxford do much more of their own cooking than American students usually do, and all students have access to a kitchen.
- Additional fees may apply for students in certain subjects, as University fees in those subjects are higher. For students taking coursework beyond the usual load (of one major and one minor), and for students changing tutorials from previous choices, additional fees may be charged.
- Meals: Estimated at £3,180 (for both the 2 terms and the 6-week break)
- Students can choose to take meals in the dining hall, cook for themselves in the shared kitchens, or eat out at one of Oxford's many restaurants.
- Accommodation in between terms: £1,416
- 5 weeks of accommodation during break at £40.45 per night
- Local transportation: estimated at $500
- Oxford is a small city and is very walkable. However, this is an estimated cost for buses or the use of a rental bike around the city for the semester.
