About: Endeavor strives to transform the economies of emerging markets by identifying and supporting high-impact entrepreneurs. Endeavor offers services to companies by assisting them in breaking down a society’s barrier to success, offering world-class strategic advice, and opening doors to capital. With Endeavor’s guidance, companies become role models, encourage others to innovate and take risks, and create sustainable economic growth.
Intern Responsibilities: IIP interns will help seek, identify, and select potential Argentinean high-impact entrepreneurs to present at the Endeavor International Selection panels and may also work directly with selected Endeavor entrepreneurs. IIP interns will also work on interviewing entrepreneurs to determine whether they meet Endeavor´s criteria for Endeavor entrepreneurs and help organize Endeavor Córdoba´s largest annual conference.
Qualifications: This internship is ideal for candidates interested in international business, economic development, business process outsourcing, public relations, marketing, and communication. Candidates with an interest in entrepreneurship and an understanding of economic development are encouraged to apply. Advanced Spanish skills in speaking, reading, and written are required.
Previous work experiences (in the words of past IIP interns): Intern #1: Conducted market research of the sports science education industry in the US - specifically the Spanish-speaking population - for Argentinian company G-SE • Researched marketing strategies, formulated individual sales letters, and successfully made initial contact with possible American partners of the Argentinian company Cono Agropecuaria • Helped to coordinate the premier event of Endeavor Argentina, Experiencia Endeavor, which educates and connects over a 1,000 entrepreneurs, investors, and NGO professionals. Intern #2: I worked on the Experiencia Endeavor Cordoba 2015: an event for entrepreneurs around Argentina to get together for workshops, networking, and inspiration. I learned how to communicate effectively in Spanish and in Argentina, how to act in a different culture.
